Still playing with the ice and frost.
I just did random shapes that you may or may not be able to use on your design. Give it a try!

Icicles & Snowflakes Paper

For you for personal use only, I have this great paper.
For the bottom I used the snowflakes border I made a few days ago. I put it on a layer above the blue background, turned the snowflakes white, merged both layers and then embossed the page.
For the topper I had this great clip art that I just kept tweaking until I got the right look. Then I applied a style on it, so it looks like the ice is actually melting on the page. Great effect.
Lastly, I merged the topper to the snowflake page.

Let it Snow

Hello!
It's freezing here. So much so that yesterday we had freezing rain. Everything is frozen; the snow that's already on the ground has a nice sheen on top. Brrrrrrrrrrrr!
So I decided to work on the phrase. I used font Kingthings Christmas that already comes with the snowflakes. I took out the 'o', then I found a nice snowflake shape that I liked, applied a clear style over it and put it on top (above) the layer that had 'snow' on it. On the 'snow' layer I used a different style, that has more blue in it.
I used font Scriptina for 'let' and Parade for 'it.' I merged the two layers together so I could apply the same style to both of them, and positioned that layer above 'snow' and 'snowflake.'
I added two more snowflakes, just to balance out the image. Each one has a different style on it.

Snowflake Border

With the freezing temps we're having here in Utah (we just got a whooping 8" or more in some places), snowflakes is all I can think of right now.
I used different sets of snowflake brushes to make the border. I put every single snowflake in their own layer. When I was done with the bigger ones and had them where I wanted them, I meshed the layers together into one (ctrl + E). Then I went into the next size, repeated the same process until I got the snowflakes the way I wanted them. I looked for  a brush that would have small snowflakes to make a sweep as a background, but didn't find any, so I added a spatter background and reduced the opacity to 65%.
When I was done, the original is dark, but you can do Ctrl + U and change the color by playing with the levers. I also went to Filter, Adjustments, Invert and turned it white. If you do this, you have to play with the adjustment levers to make the snowflakes go lighter and lighter. Here's the result.
The file you get is the original black/grey. 300 dpi, no shadows.
