Cherries Paper

I made this paper with a freebie from Paci Peroni at http://pacitubes.blogspot.com/.
I did put the cherries all over the page, then I decided to erased a big chunk and just leave the two sides. I added a background paper from Delicious Scraps, colored it to match the leaves, and done.
This is a 300 dpi, .jpg file, 12x12 paper, no shadows.
Have a great weekend!

Spring Has Sprung Paper

I just love how this page turned out. I spent a lot of time, and it evolved a few times. It started out as a daisy border and ended up as a whole page. Neat.
I used clip art from Trina Clark (http://digiscrapkits.com/digiscraps/), some patterns I made and photoshop CS5.
I used fonts Dancing Script and CurliCue.
This is a 12x12", 3600x3600, 300 dpi, .jpg file, some shadows.
Have fun with it!

Taped Picture Template

Today I give you this freebie so you can put any kind of picture above the shape, then mask it (Ctrl + G).
So, what you do is open the template and then open the picture you want to put on it. On the layers area you'll see one layer that says 'put picture under here' and that's all you have to do. Then
If you want to change the color of the tape, then click on the tape layer, go to the color picker and choose a color, then do Ctrl + U and play with the levels until you like what you get.

This is a .psd file, 300 dpi, with some shadows. The picture I put there is not part of the package. Sorry.
Have fun with it!

They're in one .png file, 300 dpi, no shadows.
Enjoy!

March Border

If you want to use this as a border, great! Or make it smaller and use it as a corner decoration.
I used font Chunky Times for 'March.' Different clover shapes and styles, a swirl shape and a hat from Scrap and Tubes (St Patrick's day elements) and a cauldron from Za Za, same place. I added a frame and a rainbow gradient on top of it. That's it!
This is a .png file, 300 dpi, some shadows.
Have fun with it!

Two Flower Borders

These two turned out great. I was working on patterns and this flower just jumped at me, so I made three different size patterns with it (sm, med, lg). When I was filling a 12x12 size page I realized I could erase the inside and turn it into a frame or border. After that, I just added two different styles, and voila! you have these.
They're in two files, each a .png file, 12x12", 300 dpi, no shadows.
Have a great weekend!

Decorated Eggs

Hello! I decided to decorate eggs digitally. I don't know that it went faster than the real thing. :)
One has a clip art on it, colored pink. The second one I used the background of an old card and pasted the chick and rose, all of it's vintage. The blue egg is a shape with an style applied to it. The last one I put a design on the egg, and added a pattern (stripes) on the ribbon and bow.
They're all .png files, 300 dpi, no shadows (except the bow).
Enjoy!

Vintage Easter Stickers

There are so many cute vintage Easter images out there, it's hard to choose just a few. I had a hard time deciding, but I have these to offer. Just turned them into stickers, nothing to it.
Hope you can use them!

Notepad + Photo Template

This is a cool help for a layout, or the opening page of an album, vacation or otherwise.
I had the notebook made and added a grey square, so you can add your picture above this layer and then mask (Ctrl + G) your picture over the grey area. Each element is in its own layer. You can change the color of the notepad (Ctrl + U) or put a pattern or mask a paper on it.
I used font MA Sexy for the phrase 'Memories.'
The picture I put there is just for show, doesn't come with this. As always, it's 300 dpi, .psd file, no shadows.
Enjoy!

Easter Stamps

A cute collection today.
I had different clip art, so I turned them into stamps. You can do it with your own, just open your image, click on Filter, then Sketch, then Stamp. You may have to play a little with your light/dark balance, but this is easy to do.
All the stamps are in one .png file, the file is about 8x8", 300 dpi, no shadows.
Have a great week!

Spring Felt

I put together different things for this today: some spring and some Easter. I know they go together, but some people may like one and not the other. I just turned them into felt and hope you'll like them.
Have a happy spring time!

Christus Overlay

Just in time for Easter, this is a great way to showcase an important day.
I had a picture of the Christus, so I took out the background, using a filter I  turned the picture into either a stamp or a photocopy (don't remember which), then I took out all the white parts. Since the black lines were too thin, I added a black stroke to everything, and what was left was visible.
I then opened a 2 in sq new document, placed the image inside, with plenty of room around and saved it as a pattern. I used the pattern to make a first impression, and all the images lined up like this:
        .   .   .
        .   .   .
I wanted something more like a diamond formation, so I doubled up the image in another layer and moved it around until I got it the way I wanted.
What you get is a .png file, 12x12", black ink, no shadows. I put a blue background and turned it white (Ctrl + I) just for show.
Enjoy!

Bunny + Basket Paper

Hello! I did this by using clip art I have. You use your own pictures or clip art and make a pattern using two different pictures. Then you size them to fit a 1" square or a 2" square, like the one I made. Open a different page size at 12x12", change to Pattern stamp tool, size 2500 px and go over the whole page. Open a second layer in the same file and do the same with the second picture, then move them around until they fit nicely inside the page. You may have to do some moving around, but it's worth it.
I added a 3rd layer for the background, merged everything and then embossed the page.
This is for your personal use,3600x3600 dpi,  300 dpi, .jpg file, no shadows.
Hope it's useful!

Easter Basket & Chicks Border

I put this together with elements from JosDZigns (you can find them at tkoscraps.com).
I put the chicks in one layer, then copied it and reverse it to have them looking the other way. Added the basket and little bow on top, then the hanging 'Happy Easter' sign. I made a template with a little brush I had and colored it green and lavender. I used that pattern for the bow and wrap.
This freebie is 300 dpi, .png file and it has some shadows.
This is the start of a great spring! I'm starting to clean up my flower beds.

Easter Rooster

To change a bit the theme, I decided to start of with this cute rooster dragging a cart with an egg in it.
I added the phrase in Deloise font, with a glass style. Merged everything and turned it into a sticker.
Enjoy!

Irish Potpourri

I know, too much Irish. I love the good vibes that come with it. Maybe because it's the beginning of spring. Don't know.
In this bunch I've mixed stickers with mulberry paper (both actions from Delicious Scraps) and felt and plastic (both from Atomic Cupcake). I love the way the felt looks, so I'll be doing more with it.
As always, they are all .png files, 300 dpi, no shadows (except the stickers have some).
Hope you can use it!

Irish Sampler

Since I didn't post anything over the weekend, and the Easter season will be short this year, I'm hurrying getting out some Irish stuff before moving on.
This one is, maybe, something more popular. I put together the clover paper with a clip art I had, set it as a pattern and then use it to make the border, frame (action by Delicious Scraps) and brad (action by Atomic Cupcake).
This is a freebie for personal use, .png file, 300 dpi, no shadows.
Have fun!
Patricia.

Felt Irish Border

This was a cool idea. I like the end result, done in felt.
Nothing strange about how I made it, just had two different clip art that I lined up next to each other and doubled each one until I had a line about 12" long. I added a ribbon, which was originally red. To change it to rainbow I added a layer above the ribbon, put a rainbow gradient on it and then masked (Ctrl + G) it over the ribbon. After I applied an action from Atomic Cupcake (puffy felt) I added a coin on top of everything.
However, if you don't like the way the felt border looks you can have the original.
This is a .png file, 300 dpi, no shadows.
Enjoy!

Irish Wisdom

I love this saying, but didn't want to do something conventional so this is the result.
I used fonts Stamp Act, Papyrus and Scrap Cursive. I made sure every item was level on the same line, added the clovers and applied a sticker-type style.
I also played a bit with the '4' and 'every.'
This is about 4x6", 300 dpi, a bit of a shadow.
Enjoy!

Luck o' the Irish Sticker

I know, back to the Irish. This one had at least three lives. I started out with the phrase, in Blackoak STD, then I thought it would look good in a circle. I replace the 'o' with the clover. I gave it a style. Turned it into a circle and added the cauldron.
And didn't like it. So I turned it into a brush (second life) and used it. Colored it green and decided it would look even better as a sticker (third life). So here it is.
If you'd like the original, here it is:
And may the sun shine always on your path.

Green Frame Cluster

Hi!
Since Spring is almost here, at least temps are getting higher and the snow is receding, I thought something flowery would work for today's freebie.
It took me a while to decide, I tried a bunch of different papers on the square frame, but after I found the flower I chose a crumpled paper and copied (colorized) the green of the leaves, then I used it as a mask (Ctrl + G) over the generic frame. I placed the flower and leaves on the frame, then I added the bow and wrap I had from another design and colored it by copying the flower center.
The frame doesn't have a shadow, but the flower, bow and wrap do. Just a little shadow.
This freebie is 300 dpi, .png file, and has some shadows.
Enjoy!
Patricia.

Lucky

I just loved designing this phrase.
I used font Adria for the letters. I came up with a cool St Patrick's style that I used on the L, and a glass style for the 'cky.' I used a leprechaun's hat that I got from http://rebelliousscraps.blogspot.fr/. The terms of use (TOU) are in French, so I hope I didn't brake any rules, but I'm not selling this, so I feel safe enough. I also added a clover and gave it the same glass style as the 'cky' letters.

This is as always, a 300 dpi, .png file, with some shadows (hat and clover).
Enjoy!
Patricia.
PS: if you're interested in acquiring the Clover style, send me an email or comment. I charge a dime for it. :)
